Qualifications:
- You have a history of paying your bills and have good references.
- You have a reliable source of income to pay a no-interest mortgage.
- You have a reliable source of income but do not qualify for a bank loan to buy a house.
- Habitat Bay Waveland Area only does new construction.
- You are willing to be a partner in the Habitat for Humanity program. Partnership requirements include:
- Sweat equity (labor on the work site) of 100-200 hours
- Attendance at Homeowner Training
- Participation in budget counseling
- Attendance at Post Purchase Workshops I and II
